Follow-up on The Buddha's Way
The Way of the Buddha was called the Middle Way because it is the conduct between self-indulgence, on one side, and extreme asceticism on the other side. His Way can help individuals sharpen their concetration on their Life so it is lived more meaninfully, and pave the way to their Enlightenment. At this point one has removed themselves from Illusion, Unreality and Mortal Suffering.
Begin then regular periods of Attunement. In meditation reach out to your own Divine Presence, and to Lord Gautama himself, for guidance and assistance in your progress. Let your Soul inspire you as to simple prayers to offer. When not in meditation, write the Steps of the Teaching in a notebook, and note where work is needed in your life. Be assured that your Divine Self has heard you and Angels are present to assist you.
To the Buddha, ignorance was not merely the absence of knowledge but also erroneous points of view. The beliefs we hold condition the choices we make. Those choices can lead life toward a wholesome or unwholsome existence. When his Truths are put into practice, one can rejoice because the erroneous ideas will be replaced with correct knowledge. With this the individual can grow Spiritually and draw more Light into his or her life.
If our readers are serious about moving forward with the Eightfold Path, or with any part of this Website's suggestions, it would do well to prepare oneself a "sacred space" with an Altar and a way to sit comfortably. A place or space in the home where one can be undisturbed and quiet. You may write to us if you would like suggestions on setting up an Altar.
We now turn your attention to more of the Ascended Masters, of whom Lord Gautama is one, and with whom He is One.
The Ascended Masters
Gautama, Jesus, Mary, Kuan Yin, Kali, Saint Therese, Saint Francis, Shiva, Zarathustra, and many more Saints and Buddhas of the Brotherhood, are just as real as you are to the nearest person. The sense of separation is an illusion that many of us are working on removing. This illusion diminishes as we do the work necessary to change and renew our Consciousness to receive more Light.
The Ascended Masters Teachings lead to Union with God and in attaining one's Soul Immortality. Their "footprints in the sand" are the Path which they also followed when in embodiment. Now they invite and encourage everyone who so wishes to follow their tutelage, to be taught and lifted to their own God-free being.
The Mystery Teachings were not always made available. In the latter part of the last Century the Ascended Masters, by God's Grace, have approached their Messengers and given them their Teaching - the same Teachings of the Mystery School of long ago. This "more-than-usual" blessing upon Earth cannot be overestimated. It has been extended in the Age of Aquarius because of Cosmic Purposes: the Great Golden Age coming, and the Ascension of many Souls. We will discuss this further in the Section on Concepts Explained. For now, we'll just say that a Great Golden Age is due upon the Earth, greater than even the Renaissance. Those who have followed the prophesies of various cultures have probably heard of this great event.
The Masters of East and West are, and always have been, the Teachers, Exemplars and Inspiration to Mankind. All of the great works of music, art, and even political movements in the name of Freedom, such as the Founding of the United States, have been inspired by the Adepts of Heaven. These are they who have attained their Union with God, but who were once people walking the Earth just like you and we are now. They have appeared in various places. Most of the time people do not believe or do not recognize them. They are the same Saints most of whom the Catholic Church has canonized. They are the same Saints that other Cultures and Religions hold dear in their spiritual practices - including the Gods and Goddesses of Hinduism, the Immortals of China, the Saints of Tibet, etc. They are the Men and Women of Heroic Valor in History. Does it not make sense that the Ascended Sons and Daughters of the the Living God should come from every path and every culture?
They are the "numberless...Saints robed in white..." as spoken of in the Revelation. One of these valiant Beings of Light, who has outpictured the Father's Dream of a Golden Age upon Earth, for many of his lifetimes, is Beloved Saint Germain. He is the Hierarch of the Aquarian Age, just as Jesus is the Hierarch of the Piscean Age. He is also the Sponsor of our Nation. Below we offer a Dictation by Saint Germain on the Golden Age, on preparing for it, and recounts of himself as Columbus. It is true that the Soul of each of us, each lifetime, has the opportunity to add to its Self-mastery by fulfilling a portion of the mission it has chosen.
With time that is not too distant, and if one wishes, anyone may come to learn, study and be a part of the Community of Saints here on Earth. It depends on how well one understands that the True Freedom of the Soul is not found in the ways of the world. We offer here two Dictations. These are live lectures or speeches given to the Messengers of the Great White Brotherhood. The Brotherhood in Heaven consists of the Masters, Archangels, Angels, Seraphin, Cherubim and other denominations of Angels, Saints, Buddhas and other Cosmic Beings. The word "white" denotes the radiation of Light which emanates from these Beings.

It is well to note here, that when one reads the work of the Masters, one receives the Light of that Master because it is the Word of a Christed Being. All who ascend, from any religion, culture or country, whether they believe in Christ or not, becomes one with the Mind of God and with His Son, therefore, becomes a Christed Being.
